The Win a pair of LEGACY sunglasses Contest is sponsored by JULBO CANADA
Eligibility
This contest is open to all residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence. The contest is void where prohibited by law. Employees, representatives and agents of Julbo Canada their respective affiliates and related companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, and members of their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, and spouse, regardless of where they live) and households are not eligible.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. For a chance to win, participants must sign up for the free Julbo Canada newsletter.
Entries must be made at julbo-canada.ca before July 10, 2024.
Two draws will be held on July 23, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
Prizes
(2) Two people will win a pair of LEGACY sunglasses valued at $250.
No cash exchanges or substitutions.
Selection of winners
Winners will be selected by random draw from a list of all eligible entries. Odds of winning the prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received by the contest closing date. Existing email subscribers are not eligible to enter this contest to win a pair of LEGACY eyewear. Only new email subscribers are eligible to enter the ‘Win Your Julbo LEGACY’ contest. The prize will be sent to the address provided by the winners within 15 days of the draw.
A random draw will be held at the Julbo Canada head office in Saint-Laurent from among all contest entries.
Draw dates: July 23, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
Prize claims
By accepting a prize, the winners grant Julbo Canada the right to use the winner’s name, likeness, city of residence and biographical information for any lawful purpose without further authorization or compensation, except where prohibited by law. Julbo Canada intends to publish only the winner’s first name, last initial, city and province of residence.
If any of the conditions mentioned herein are not met, the entry of the selected entrant will be void and a new random draw will be conducted in accordance with the official contest rules until a new winner is selected.
General conditions
The information provided by the participant during contact must be complete and truthful. The competition organizers cannot be held responsible for any connection problems, late, misdirected, or incomplete prize claims. Any electronic entry or any entry form that is incomplete, mutilated, reproduced, or transmitted late will be cancelled and will not entitle the entrant to a prize.
The contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify any person or to cancel one or more entries of any person participating in this contest or attempting to participate in this contest by a means that is contrary to these rules or unfair to other participants (e.g., use of automated equipment to participate in this contest, hacking, number of entries exceeding the permitted limit, etc.). This person may be referred to the appropriate legal authorities. The Contest Organizer’s decision in this regard is final and without appeal.
If the Contest Organizer discovers that attempts have been made by a registered entrant (or any person claiming to be a registered entrant) to: (i) enter more than once per registered entrant per day during the Contest Period (ii) use automated program(s), scripts, macros or robotic programs to enter (iii) create ordered entries from the same computer/IP address in the same day (including, but not limited to, creating false email addresses or social media accounts), may result in disqualification, at the sole discretion of the Contest Organizer, even if the entrant has been declared a winner.
CAUTION:
ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO TAMPER WITH THE ENTRY PROCESS OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, JULBO CANADA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
Prizes must be accepted as awarded; without warranty of any kind. NO SUBSTITUTION OR TRANSFER OF PRIZES IS PERMITTED, EXCEPT AT THE DISCRETION OF THE CONTEST ORGANIZERS. THE CONTEST ORGANIZERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SUBSTITUTE ANY PRIZE WITH A PRIZE OF EQUIVALENT OR GREATER VALUE. PRIZES ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE OR REDEEMABLE FOR CASH IN WHOLE OR IN PART.
Entrants agree to abide by the official contest rules and the decisions of the contest organizers, which are final. This contest is governed by all applicable laws. By entering the contest, entrants release the contest organizers, their advertising agencies and their respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for any harm, loss or damage whatsoever arising from or in connection with the contest or for any prize won. In order to be declared a winner, the persons selected for a prize agree to sign, prior to receiving their prize, if required, a declaration and release form to this effect.
By entering the contest, entrants agree to the disclosure of their name, place of residence, photograph, image, without compensation or notice, for publicity, marketing or informational purposes in any media or format (including the Internet) in connection with this contest or similar contests in the future, and agree to and will sign any document related to this undertaking or deemed necessary by the contest organizers.
All entries become the property of the contest organizers. No communication will be exchanged with entrants except with those selected for a prize.
For the purposes of these rules, the entrant is the person whose contact information appears on the no-purchase entry letter or electronic entry form or on the entry form. It is this person who must answer the mathematical skill-testing question and to whom the prize will be awarded in accordance with the terms of this contest. The contest organizers reserve the right to require identification before awarding a prize.
Limits of Liability
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing and for greater certainty, the Contest Organizers, their affiliates, employees, agents and representatives shall not be held liable for: i) any erroneous or inaccurate information, whether caused by human or technical error, that may occur in the contest entry process; ii) any error, omission, interruption or any deletion, defect or delay in transmission in connection with the contest; iii) any failure of communication lines, theft, destruction or unauthorized access to or modification of entry iv) any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; or any combination thereof; or v) any injury or damage to a third party’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials for this Contest. If the Contest is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including infection by computer virus, computer error, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity and proper conduct of the contest, the contest organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, when required. In all cases, the Contest Organizers, their affiliates and the suppliers of prizes and services related to this Contest shall not be required to award more prizes than those provided for in these Contest Rules or to award prizes otherwise than in accordance with these Contest Rules. Participation in the contest implies acceptance of these rules, including the absolute limit on the number of prizes described above.
By participating or attempting to participate in this contest, all persons release the contest organizers, their advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, agents and representatives from all liability for any damage they may incur as a result of their participation or attempted participation in the contest.
For Quebec residents
Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
The masculine gender is used indiscriminately, for the sole purpose of lighting the text.
Privacy
Entrants’ personal information is collected by the Sponsor solely for the purpose of administering this Contest. Other informational or commercial communications may be received by any entrant unless the entrant informs the Sponsors that he/she explicitly does not wish to receive such communications.
