J’ai reçu mes SNIPER EVO L la veille du Marathon Canadien de ski. En deux jours, par temps très froid, une journée ensoleillée et l’autre, un ciel couvert. Ces lunettes s’adaptent à tous les climats. Très bon achat.
Perfect for cross-country skiing. Happy the order arrived promptly after O placed the order. However, the clear lense arrived chipped and uninstallable. The warranty replacement will take 2-4 weeks, I am told. In my opinion, this is way too long! Also, the lenses are sensitive to being knocked off the frame when manoeuvring with my gloves on. It takes bare fingers to move the visor up and down, or else they fall. Better design needed there. Or maybe it's better to spend a bit more and get the single photochromic Reactiv lense that does not need to be changed out. However, I really wanted the clear lense for night vision.
Bought these for my boyfriend as a Xmas gift. We go out X-country skiing every Sunday. He absolutely loves them. Not having to change the lenses is a major bonus. So far the tinting is working great. We’ll see if it works long term.
I have the old style with a fixed tint. Might have to splurge next year and buy myself this model.
I use mine for XC skiing. Good facial coverage for snowy, cold/windy conditions. 0 to 4 Reactive lens. I find it a bit dark in low light situations. Strap is comfortable to wear. The nose pice does not sit on one’s nose so is suspended. Not an issue for me. I’ve always worn it with a toque (wool hat) so don’t have an idea how well it fits on a bare head.

J’ai une bonne grosse tête (59-60 de circonférence) et la monture fit parfait sur mon visage (rond). Il ne me reste qu’à les essayer en action. Je verrai après si ça mérite un 5 étoiles.
Les lunettes sont d'une très bonne qualité, mais trop serré au niveau des tempes pour moi. Même si j'ai commandé la version Large.
Pretty nice, changes fast in different light, and are light. The black nose piece bouncing around (not on your nose) is an annoying distraction and could be improved by making it a lighter colour, and actually rest on the nose.
I don't see a way of tightening the hinge. I hope this doesn't become an issue!
This was recommended to me by a friend and a really glide he did. These are extremely comfortable, to the point that forgot I was wearing them the first tie I used the x-country skiing. No fogging and light. Really happy with my purchase and highly recommend.

All the different types of glasses I tried, including ski goggles, would make my prescription glasses underneath fog up badly. As a last resort, I bought the Julbo Sniper. They do work very well for cross country skiing. They keep my eyes from watering excessively in the downhill sections and keep my regular glasses fog free. Of course they protect from the sun, reduce the glare from the snow and thus improve your visibility. The flip-up lens makes it easy to keep the glasses on your head in situations (e.g. low light) when you would otherwise need to take regular sunglasses off. Quality design and product.
The fit is very good - I like the 3 interchangeable lens that a replaced in a heartbeat.
A little tight at the beginning, becomes almost unoticeable after a while. Very effective

I bought the large "L" size and it feels really narrow. To the point where it hurts my head after wearing them for more than 15 minutes.
It's one of two things:
- This model is, by design, very narrow and only fits very small heads.
- I received a small size by mistake, but I have no way of knowing as there no marks on the glasses.
Very disappointed, I suspect they perform well in other aspects (fogging, protection, etc.), but I can't wear them.
I am a certified instructor and course conductor in XC skiing and have always used my cycling glasses to ski…until now. Wow. I am extremely satisfied. They don’t fog up even with a buff on. Now I’d love to get a second different lens for even brighter days!
