That's the third pair of Vermont Sunglasses since 1960. They never let me down but unfortunately someone likes them and think of using them in my absence :-)

Best sunglass ever

At the first moment look a little bit strange using a sunglass which block your lateral vision, however when you get used with it, it’s perfect because you can only focus to the straight path and there’s no peripheral light bothering you.

Glasses side straps came ripped

Glasses arrived ripped on the side where the rivits are in the leather Stylish glasses , side blinders reduce visibility for driving , quite heavy on nose and right on the back of the ear

Nice design poor quality side gaurds

Right side gaurd retaining strap was not attached when taken out of box.

Too tight

They are very well built; and very nice, but they are very tight on my averaged sized head.

Vermont Classic White

I really like Julbo and have purchased a few of their glacier glasses. The Micropore, and the Dolomite glasses. I have to say i’m a little disappointed in the Vermont Classic. I feel no love were put into these. There’s no outstanding markings the boast the Julbo name, no nose piece, the cable arms on the ends were unfinished. I live in cold country Canada. Trust me you don't want bare metal sitting on your nose. Lucky for me I had spare parts to finish the cable arms and switched out the side shields to the more breathable ones from my micro pore glasses. Even the packaging was low par. No hard case or extras with these glasses. I don't know if Julbo has switched hands or what? I feel though these glasses are not worth the price I paid for them. I'll keep them for now because i did alter them and really didn't have anything better at the moment. I will say I won't be buying from Julbo until I see a change in there attitude and design. Bring back the Dolomite glasses and show me you care.

Too tight; made for children

Very disappointed with my purchase. The Vermont glasses are way too tight. I think I received a pair for children and not adults. ALSO! They don’t tell you this on the website: the Vermont glasses do NOT have a nosepiece. The rims of the glasses just rest on your nose. There’s a different model with the nosepiece. Again, ZERO info about this on their website. Super disappointed, and I can’t return them. I feel robbed.

Happiness

I am thoroughly satisfied and look forward to testing them out on spring hikes, for now they do help with glare on snow, and are as advertised not for driving as peripheral is impaired, however eyes are good and protected.
